Nemachaen

Nemachaen was Demane and Sipho's dog. It had mottled yellow and brown fur. The British contingent took to calling it Nemachaen after a lion that some of the younger aviators read about in their studies. In Africa, it sniffed out those mushrooms which Temeraire's formation used to cure the dragon plague.
