Behind the Scenes: Crucible of Gold Trailer

To celebrate the forthcoming release of the new Temeraire novel, Crucible of Gold, Naomi has authorized the creation of a new book trailer!

The website will feature a Behind the Scenes look at the creation of the book trailer, this being the first post of several. If you look below, you will see the very beginning stages, along with commentary from Lim, the artist responsible for creating the book trailer. I particularly like the third image—the rendering of a dragon!

I recognize that program! It’s BLENDER! I’m such a fan of the Blender Institute movies!! It’s a good thing that it’s being used for the trailer (to give it some exposure).
